Audace's toys

Here's Audace with some of his favorite toys! A box, a piece of cardboard with one hole in it, a paper bag, and a little fuzzy toy he can play "soccer" with! He also loves the climbing toy, the cubes, and the big box that my TV came in.

Here's a link to the video showing how he plays with all this stuff:

Funny boy!

Another two-tummy Tuesday!

This photo is from last September, but I couldn't resist posting it. Two little fuzzy tummies, just right for pats and rubs!

KMM - on our own!

KittyMovieMonday (KMM) has been a wonderful idea until some weirdos started posting tons and tons of videos (I know that's an exaggeration) without regard for the day of the week or even the topic, at times.

So here's our contribution to this day -- on our own:

Cuddlin' up

Ruse loves to cuddle. He cuddles with me; he cuddles with his mom (as you can see in these photos); and he tries to cuddle with Audace sometimes, and sometimes Audace tolerates his smaller brother!

Both these guys are adult-cat size now, although Audace is slightly larger and noticeably heavier than Ruse. They have three more months or so to go before their first birthday, and I'm wondering how much larger than their mom they will be! Audace will be, certainly, but I'm not sure about Ruse.

for Tummy Tuesday

Nothing rarer than Ruse's tummy visible! He usually sleeps on his tummy or curled up so that his tummy is not vulnerable to rubs and pats. He must have felt extra secure this particular evening.

for Kitty Movie Monday

Audace really had me stumped the other day. I couldn't find him ... and I thought I knew all their hiding/snoozing spots.
See the lump at the side of the sheet-covered chair? There he was, snoozing away!
I also took some little movies, and they're now posted at Kitty Movie Monday.

Today we have had sunshine almost all day long. All three cats have enjoyed time spent in doorways and on windowsills. They love it as much as I do.

Now to see how long it'll last. Rain is predicted again; I wonder if the forecasters will be right!

Kitties in the sun

Here are Grace and Ruse, enjoying the sun -- the last time we saw sun around here -- and I can't even remember when that was! Audace was snoozing somewhere else, but Grace and Ruse really enjoyed lounging and cleaning each other in the sunshine.

Maybe next Thursday we'll see the sun again. We'll hope so, anyway.

Wondering what's out there!

Grace and Audace keep staring out the back door. They seem to be wondering what's going on out there. What they should be happy about (but are blissfully unaware of) is that they don't have to go outside in the 31-degree weather!

Pampered kitty-cats!

Tummy Tuesday -- double!

What's better than a cute kitty-tummy for a Tuesday post? Why, two kitty-tummies, of course!

Find the kitty!

It's been quite cold in this area lately, today being the coldest so far. I know other places in the country have been markedly colder, but Grace doesn't know the difference. She clearly felt the great need to bury herself in my little down throw blanket! Find the kitty!!

Progress of feather destruction!

Here's Audace with a new feather to play with ... and you can see what happens within 24 hours of getting a new feather. At first, I gave one to Audace and one to Ruse, but that is futile. They just both rip 'em apart as fast as possible, so now the one-at-a-time rule is in effect!

Another Kitty Movie Monday

Here's our contribution to this week's Kitty Movie Monday:

These cats are nuts over the peacock feathers, and they can play with them and rip 'em up until there's not much left except a partial stem and some wisps!

Funny cats!

New Year's new kitty grass

Grace and Ruse love the kitty grass. (Audace can't be bothered!) They are very messy, however. They leave blades of grass, sometimes attached to the seed and roots, out on the floor or kitchen island -- wherever they are snacking. Such funny little creatures!
