Diet time!

Audace and Ruse had their annual visit to the v-e-t this morning, and ... bad news for them! Audace is a whopping 20#, and Ruse is 15# -- joining Momma Grace at 16# in the tubbiesville category!

So ... they'll be on Science Diet's r/d from now on, mostly the wet food, but with a few of the dry crunchies sprinkled on top. And no more grazing ... this will disturb Grace the most, I'm sure.

I'd rather have healthy li'l jewels, though, and so far they are quite healthy! Well, except for the weight, that is. They also had their claws clipped. They won't let me do this at home, so I take them to the v-e-t -- who had to sedate Audace to get the job done. Do you think I've spoiled them rotten? =)

Hurrah for good vet visits! Except for the weight, of course. Our Derry is tubby, easily gains, and our mom's not helping by feeding us way too many Temptations! :-P

Good luck with the *shudder* diet!

Glad to hear you guys are in good health, except for the weight issue...Best of luck with the diet; we've never been on a diet, but think wet food is good for losing weight=that sounds like a diet we could handle!...Hope you all have a great day...kisses, sweet friends...Calle, Halle, Sukki

We are on a diet too. I, Eric am down to 20lbs from 23lbs, and Flynn is down from 15lbs to 13lbs. Mum would like me to get down to 17lbs but she doesn't want Flynn to lose any more. I think she sneaks him a few treats when I am not looking.
We are glad everything else was good at the vet visit.

My human keeps trying to make me GAIN weight! I am just under 6 lbs. and she thinks that is too thin! It seems like no matter what a kitty weighs, their humans want to change it.

Audace is 20 pounds? Seaborne is 20 pounds too! Grace is 16??? Ruse is 15? Oh my goodness, when I first got Grace, she was so skinny that I fed her about 10 cans of food a day! Of course, she was nursing four kittens! :)

I'm so happy that they have such a great Mommy to take care of them!

Precious babies!

Love, Deb

No grazing? Oh, no! We'd starve to death. Absolutely and positively. Quick, we have to hide this post from Jan!

But first we'd like to leave lots of purrs and tail wags for Anne.

We're sending healing purrrss to Anne. We hope the bean V*T fixes whatever problems she is having with her ostomy.
