I love to slosh water around and splat it with my paw. plus, I scoop food up with my paw and fling it to the floor, then eat half of it and fling some more. our other water bowl is on the bathroom counter. I don't make a mess with that one because it's pointless - being right by the sink and all, it takes all the fun out of it. It...We have old newspapers under the water bowels. It's not a perfect solution, but the papers absorb the smaller spills.
