We have become so used to checking Facebook every day -- and we post there just about every day, too -- that we have forgotten to post on our blog! Are others seeing the same thing happen, with themselves and with others, too?

Audace is back to normal again. I still don't know what the deal was, but I'm just happy to have my boy back to his normal, playful, talkative self!

World Cat Day ... celebrate!

We are celebrating World Cat Day today ... well, we celebrate every day, but we'll post about it today!!

Keeping entertained on hot days!

Audace and Ruse manage to keep entertained (when they're not snoozin') on hot days. The new X-scratcher is especially fun, and they take turns using it. 

Grace, however, just moves around from one cool spot to another. She's definitely not snuggling up with her boys these days!

Two of the kitties who preceded Grace and boys in my household were Pluto and Indy. Let us introduce them properly!

GERIATRIC CATS

 I wrote that up the day before I found out how truly ill my Indy was. I lost her the next day. 

Then Grace and boys came into my life a couple of months later, and ... what joy!

It was very hard to lose my Indy and my Pluto ... however, losing them didn't stop me from adopting Grace and boys! Who can resist these little jewels in our lives??

New scratchers!

I picked up a new scratcher for my pals today, along with refills for the round scratchers. 

Audace was more interested in the wrapping than in the new stuff! 

Then he started checking things out. 

Hmmm! He seems more and more interested. 

Ahhh ... he surveys all his new loot ... and wonders how he'll plan to use the new X-scratcher!

Playing with painted stones

Grace and boys discover the cat-painted stones ... and sometimes actually play with them while I have the camera on! Ruse and, later, Grace were playing "soccer" with a couple of them for a while! It's very fun to watch them inspect and play!!

I've had the largest one for a long time, given to me by a friend when I was still teaching in California. The other six are some that I won in a bid, and which Savannah's mom sent me. I love them all. Soooooo darling!

Our 7th Gotcha Day!!

Seven years ago today, Grace and Audace and Ruse came to live in this house. (I can hardly call it "my house" since it's theirs as well as mine!) What a joyous day that was.

... and to Marigold and Mr B, even though we think they have already celebrated in their new forever home with Mama Laura and Maxie!
