8th Gotcha Day!!

Today is Grace, Audace, and Ruse's 8th Gotcha Day!! I'm so glad we all found each other!!

Grace and Audace and Ruse get lots of hugs EVERY day! They may or may not welcome them, but they get 'em, nevertheless!! 

However, whenever I'm hugging a cat, there's no one to take a photo or two!!

Ruse and Audace discover the car!

Ruse has been showing curiosity about the inside of the car (and one day, the inside of the trunk!), so this morning I opened the door to see how far inside he and Audace would wander. They were in there a good half hour. Made me laugh!!

I can see, though, that I'll have to be really careful about driving into the garage. Since they now show no fear of the car, I'm afraid for them. I guess I'll have to park outside, then feed them, then pull into the garage while they're busy eating!!

Grace snores!!

I've noticed that Grace snores for a while now ... not all the time, but it's there. I've heard Ruse purring in his sleep, but Grace's little snores are different!

What's hard for me to believe is that her snoring never wakes Ruse up, even when they're nearly nose to nose like this!!

Grace & Company seem to do almost nothing except eat and sleep these days. I know it's chillier than usual outside, but how do they know that! They're always inside this heated house!!

Cold weather ... and these indoor-only, spoiled cats seem to know when it's cold outside!

 Audace is so cuddly with his brother that Ruse is pushed out of their li'l bed and its lovely blankie!

So Ruse takes off and goes to his momma! Then she proceeds to give him a bath before they curl up to snooze together!

Today, I took Grace to her doctor because of all the coughing and heaving and hairballs. I had no idea what the dr would say, but she did surprise me. Here I was all focused on hairballs, and the dr was interested in HOW Grace was coughing ... and it could be asthma or maybe even an irritated bowel. Oh, my! I sure don't want a whole lot of experimenting done on my li'l girl. Anyway, the dr gave her a shot of cortisone, and we'll continue with the Laxitone and see what happens in the next two weeks.

Audace is back to normal again. I still don't know what the deal was, but I'm just happy to have my boy back to his normal, playful, talkative self!

Keeping entertained on hot days!

Audace and Ruse manage to keep entertained (when they're not snoozin') on hot days. The new X-scratcher is especially fun, and they take turns using it. 

Grace, however, just moves around from one cool spot to another. She's definitely not snuggling up with her boys these days!
