Paper bites the dust!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KIzFvkLQD0
Last night, he was really wild, and I realized it was because he missed his newly discovered toy - the paper! So I got some tissue paper out and crumbled three sheets into nice, crinkly "toys," and now he's happily playing with paper again. I don't know how much of this stuff we'll actually go through! Crinkly paper and peacock feathers - the toys of choice at this time!

All wound up!
He really made a mess -- every single toy and feather was dumped out of the baskets (cats' toy boxes, you know), and the kitty gym was knocked askew and at one point was blocking access to the hallway! What a guy!!

Audace is showing us his mancat size on a snoozing mat his Auntie Midge made last winter. This is becoming his favorite place for an afternoon nap -- and they are L-O-N-G afternoon naps!!

And a wordless tale with a help-yourself kitty in it from Mind of Mog!! We are laughing ourselves silly about this one!
Here’s a little mystery story from murmuring trees called “Intruder Alert.” Just the thing as we all make our preparations for Halloween!
And last, but definitely not least, is a wonderful poem at qarrtsluni called “Known Them.” Be sure you don’t pass this one by! It’s a wonderful read.
